Beta Beta Beta Honorary Biological Society

Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through 科学 research.

Northwest’s Upsilon Alpha chapter of 是 (GSE) is a national chemistry honor society for high achieving students.  GSE is a national chemistry honor society that recognizes high scholastic achievement in Chemistry and its allied sciences.  Inductees are not required to be majoring in chemistry, but are to have completed 16 credit hours of chemistry and be nominated by a faculty member.  GSE exists to foster a professional community of chemists and promote the advancement of science.

GeoClub

GeoClub is a student organization within the Department of Humanities and Social Science and the Department of 自然科学 and welcomes everyone who is interested in 地质 or Geography. The purpose of the club is to provide academic and social activities in the fields of Earth Science, 地质, and Geography for active members.

The 海洋生物学会 is an organization that is open to anyone with an interested in Marine Science and the ocean. The club meets every other week to talk about the latest news in Marine Biology, 学习海洋知识, meet with experts in the field, and participate in activities to help our environment.

Northwest Wildlife Club

The Northwest Wildlife Club is an organization open to anyone with an interest in enjoying and preserving the environment and biological resources. Members take an active part in keeping the environment beautiful and in harmony. The club is a social organization for people with similar special interests such as hiking, 野营, 户外摄影, 观鸟, 狩猎, 钓鱼, 洞穴探险, 等. The club takes a special interest in conserving wildlife.

PreHealth Occupations Club

Student 子公司 of the American Chemical Society

The American Chemical Society (ACS) is the world’s largest professional organization for chemists.  Northwest’s Student 子公司 of the ACS (SAACS) is a professional development and educational organization open to all students with a broad interest in science.  SAACS is an organization that emphasizes the professional development of young chemists and strives to educate the public about chemical issues.  SAACS annually participates in several educational outreach endeavors, including the Junior High Science Olympiad and demonstrations in area schools, 促进科学.

Women in Science Society 

The Women in Science Society is about creating a community of female students pursuing a career in STEM.  Its main goal is to promote female scientists and build relationships with students who have similar classes, 激情, 和理想.  WISS believes it is extremely important for female scientists to have their community of peers to relate to and lean on but also to become independently strong.
